REMEMBER to e-mail me your simple thesis statement for approval. (Do this by December 2 at the latest.)

Write an essay of your own topic/thesis. In the first week, write your complete thesis and rough draft. In the second week, write your final draft and follow steps below. Hand in the following:

1) Your complete thesis on a separate page
2) Your complete essay. Highlight (include a key for what colors you use) to show these four things:

Your hook/clincher

Your simple thesis

Your pros and cons

Any vocab learned in class

Reskim ch. 5; be sure you have followed all style tips.
