wk7 Dialectic Literature

Parents,
We are covering TOG weeks 16 and 17 for Dialectic Literature. We discussed Shakespeare's Sonnet 18 in class and will continue that discussion next co-op (looking at Sonnets 29 and 116 as well). We will also orally exam the other excerpts included in the text next time we meet. As such, students do not have an SAP to complete at home. They also left class with a short poem to memorize and present for class next co-op.
Their time over the next two weeks would be best spent reading the rest of the excerpts found within Poetry for Young People, memorizing their poem, selecting a "favorite" poem to share with class next co-op, and getting a head start on reading Shakespeare's Hamlet (No Fear version recommended), which we will discuss co-op 8.
See you all in a couple weeks!
