Revised Syllabus for Upper Grammar Writing
Posted: Mon Jul 04, 2016 12:22 pm
I have attached the syllabus for upper grammar writing. Please note that I have added one additional item to the supplies list:
Binder dividers for each co-op (1 – 16) so students can easily find the work pages associated with each co-op.
Also please note the following new additions to the syllabus:
1. Rather than passing out new work pages at each class meeting, I will be passing out each student's complete packet of work pages at the July 25th informational meeting. Please help your student put these pages in their binder and add dividers between each co-op's work pages.
2. Students do not need to turn in their 3x5 cards/Figures of Descriptions cards each co-op. They only need to turn in their cards when indicated in the homework sheets.
3. There are times when we will not follow the workbook instructions exactly. For example, sometimes we will not be using inversion, beginning in the middle and reducing each time it is indicated in the book. You are free to follow the book rather than the homework instructions, just please add a note to your student’s homework letting me know you have adjusted the assignment
Thanks!
