Welcome to Year 3 Literature Studies!
Attached you will find two documents:
1. Literature assignment due co-op #1 - If you have been in Rhetoric literature awhile, some of this work will be review. However, if you are new to this class, this is a great foundational assignment that will help shape the rest of your literature studies. You will find the work divided into two weeks. Week 1 features reading and questions from the Poetics Notebook. Week 2 covers and introduction to Frankenstein. If you have bad handwriting, please type. Please do not wait to do this work until the last few days. We want to start our year with a robust discussion:)
2. Structured notes for our first class. Please print and bring to class.
Bring to class:
Poetics Binder (if that is version your mom purchased) (if you have digital - you can share with someone else)
Frankenstein
3 Ring Binder with sections for both writing and literature
You will also need to have a box or ring for index cards. You will be building a file of literary terms that you will use all four years. This year, you will be quizzed on your terms.
