Recap of Today & Lit & Geo assignment for co-op 8

Today in class we heard missionary reports from Susannah Kirkman and Presley Hunt.
We spent a large portion of our class time discussing some of the allegorical elements of The Princess and the Goblin. Please ask your students about this.
I introduced Emily Dickinson, and we went over how to figure out the rhyme scheme of a poem. This is an area most students were confused about on our last poetry assignment so I wanted to be sure they had it correct before attempting this next assignment.
I assigned the northern border of the United States for their map work this week, and I played a jingle for the students that hopefully will stick in their minds as they’re drawing and labeling those states.
After class I handed out the assignment & SAP for the week ahead, so the students would find them at their seats when they returned from lunch -- hopefully those made it home in your student’s binder.
I will also attach it here in case it did not make it home or you need an extra copy.
