Here is the assignment for the first co-op. There might still be some slight modifications. I will notify you if I post a new copy. But if you are prepared with this, you will be in good shape for the first co-op.
Thank you!

Here is the history assignment for co-op 2.
Everyone did a great job yesterday. What a great group of young people!
We are planning review game/activities as we go, so encourage them to keep their biography cards and maps and questions in their notebook and review them occasionally.
Please contact us with questions anytime.

Assignment for co-op 7.
November 6 - I added the explorers chart (from the curriculum) because I made it and thought it might be helpful in keeping the readings from these two weeks straight. There are a LOT of names!
We are working on an explorers map in class together, so if they fill out the chart from the curriculum, please have them bring it with them for reference.

Attached is the assignment for co-op8.
Please remember that history is the core of the tapestry curriculum. We do not want to be directing your home in what you do with that. We have about an hour to discuss highlights. We ask for some questions written so that we can see what the students are thinking and help you with some accountability. We do not choose the questions we think are "best" from the list. Nor do we read all the possible resources. We choose questions that we think summarize the weeks and that we can do something with in the short class we have. Depending on what you do at home, your student might know a lot about one thing we discuss and not much about another. That is fine. Actually, sometimes it is really nice. They learn from each other and make connections together.
At any time, you are welcome to substitute questions on the assignment for ones on which you want your child to focus.
By nature, what the students prepare for writing classes and literature classes has to be uniform. Because of the vast array of different resources available and the huge number of people and topics being covered, our co-op history class is not meant to be like that. You are both free and responsible to do what fits your family and what is best for your student with the resources you have or want to get.
It is a joy to work with these young people.
Thank you.
