Missionary Book for UG Writing

Dear moms,
You probably haven't looked that far out at our UG Writing syllabus, but the last few weeks of co-op have our students writing a missionary book report along with presentations. Please don't faint at the word "report." Your children are making wonderful progress, and we are considering this task an introduction to report writing. We must start somewhere, right? I recommend finding one missionary type book for your child to begin reading or for you to read aloud to them. If you don't have any, you are welcome to borrow some of my books. Don't wait until the last minute to read this book! This is your advanced warning so that the last few weeks of co-op run smoothly with this assignment. All details are outlined in your child's writing book. Nothing else needs to be done right now except choosing a missionary book and reading about him/her by March 28th. Let me know if you have any questions.
*On the final co-op day, I would like for our students to present their report to our class. We are calling this "Missionaries of History" presentations. Students will be encouraged to dress up as their chosen missionary when presenting.
Here are some ideas:
Gladys Aylward
Corrie Ten Boom
Bill Bright
Jim & Elisabeth Elliot
Billy Sunday
Amy Carmichael
Eric Liddell
Thanks,
Kristy S.
