Attached is the "inventory" worksheet for you to be considering.

Please talk this over with your parent(s) for sure and maybe another mentor/friend who knows you well.

I found the following in a book on Romans 1 by D. Martyn Lloyd-Jones. He was talking about the unique way God prepared Paul and Martin Luther for the things He had for them to do. He ends with:

" And my dear friends, I say there is a personal lesson for you and for me in this.... (D)o not let the devil tempt you into thinking that all your natural gifts are valueless and useless....We all have our gifts; therefore let us hand them back to Him that He may use them. Let us not try to be the same as everybody else. We are not meant to be. Let God use the gifts He has given us. So that I in my way and you in your way, and others in their varied ways may all together be like a great choir, singing our different parts in a mighty anthem of praise to God...."

As we are preparing for the very practical interview process, I hope you will be preparing for the much more "practical" experience of living out who God created you to be.

I would like you to hand in as many things from the worksheet and your own thoughts as possible at co-op 8. I am working on the specific questions I will draw from when you are "interviewed" in January or February (after the unit celebration).

You will have some sort of recitation/interpretation/acting speech at the unit celebration in January.

The last speech assignment will be an informative or persuasive speech given in the spring. We will talk more about that as we go along. This will be a full, 8-10 minute speech.
