Rhetoric Literature Co-op 11: POC Mrs. Ingalls

Post by JodyI »

For co-op 11, please select ONE of the following assignment options, based on what materials you may or may not have already covered and what material your family would like to focus on moving forward. We will attempt to discuss both in class, giving you at least a basic exposure to the content of both.

Option One:

Pilgrims Progress

1) Read the full work (not a youth version)

2) Complete the literature assignments found in TOG weeks 21-22 (if your edition matches mine) as described below:

Week 21--
Read and complete the SAP literature pages (p. 21-24) in the TOG week.

*Read all info (don't worry about the "Recitation or Read Aloud" section)
*Define the terms (separate paper or notecards)
*Do Beginning level question #1 (analysis chart--printed on a hard copy and typed or handwritten is fine)
*OPTIONAL---add any of the continuing level questions your parent wants you to cover

Week 22--

SAP literature page is p. 19 in my edition.

*Pick EITHER the activity in Beginning Level #1 OR Continuing Level questions 2-4.

Option Two:

Metaphysical Poets (Poets of the 1600s)

Complete this assignment:
Poets of 1600s (1).docx
(82.02 KiB) Downloaded 339 times
NOTE: Week two of the poetry assignment references a poetry packet. LET ME KNOW IF YOU PICK THIS OPTION, and I'll get you a hard copy of the poems (unless you want to google and find them...probably easier to connect for a hard copy. The poems are not needed until NEXT WEEK since there's ground work to do first, so we have time to connect on those).
