Rhetoric Literature Co-op 5 Dante's Inferno

Attached you will find the homework for The Divine Comedy: Inferno by Dante.

Because there is quite a bit of background info and actual reading of the book, I am only asking them to respond to two questions. Please make sure they reference Words of Delight for definitions and characteristics of hero and epic. Use those lists as a foundation and then pull examples from the book to support their answers. It will help to know the questions before you read, so you can be looking for specifics.

For fun - lets bring snacks to share based on the rings of hell in Dante's Inferno. Here is a site that lists the rings and punishments - some weird spellings and typos, but you will get the idea. Be creative and make it fun - no stress.
