Hello, Moms of the LG Kiddos.
Below explains about a simple Show and Tell Time (optional). Please read and respond.
In the I Love Words class time, we’ve been making a simple lap book about Colonial Times. For the next two coops, we’ll be working on completing this project. One thing that we have discussed is how almost everything these people used was handmade.
Your student is invited to bring something that might be considered appropriate to the Colonial time period OR something that they have handmade or just anything from your home that is homemade.
If parents and students are interested in participating, we will have a very simple Show and Tell Time the next two coops.
Action for you to take: Please RESPOND to this Forum Post with either "YES, my student would like to participate in Show" and Tell or "NO, my student will not be participating in Show and Tell."
Once I hear back from folks, I will assign a date for each student to show their item, either Feb. 9 or Feb. 23.
Show and Tell (Feb) - Handmade Items
Re: Show and Tell (Feb) - Handmade Items
Hi, Peggy!
I would love for my twins to do this. Can it be anything homemade or does it need to be older?
We were visiting Bryan College this weekend (amongst other things! ), so I have not been able to get anything spectacular together for this.
Thank you!!

Re: Show and Tell (Feb) - Handmade Items
Jody and All LG Moms,
Anything that is handmade will work!
We've been talking about how the Pilgrims and Colonials made most everything they needed/used.
I think this will be a simple yet meaningful way for each student to practice speaking in front of a group. And this group would be a very friendly place to start.
FYI -The Show and Tell time will be very short, so each child will only have a few minutes to share.
Thank you!
Peggy
